Sfp optical module are a small pluggale optical signal transceiver,with different working speed from 155M,655M,1.25G,2.5G,8G,10G,40G even to 200G for optiction,it's more flexible with sfp port,can adjustive to any distance & single or dual fiber with the same protocol,main sfp optical module has different below type,Xenpak,Gbic,XFP,SFP(Mini Gbic) & copper sfp,pic as below.
Description
The SFP-BIDI transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting dual data-rate of 1.25Gbps/1.0625Gbps and 20km transmission distance with SMF.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please refer to SFP MSA.
